My List

2KMovies on a Smart TV, Fire TV Stick, Chromecast, Android TV or console

The way to watch 2KMovies titles on a television: open the site in the TV browser or on your phone, press Watch now, and play in the service's TV app or cast from your phone. 2K and 4K happen here.

Two routes to the big screen

A television is where 2K and 4K earn the name, and there are two ways to get a title there. The first is the television's own browser: Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV's Silk browser and most smart TVs open the site directly. Bookmark the address, search with the remote or the voice button, open a title, choose your country once, and press Watch now. The title opens in the service's TV app when that app is installed, which is where it plays in 4K with HDR when the master and the plan allow it.

The second route is casting, and it is the quicker one. Open the title on your phone, press Watch now, pick the service, and cast from the service's app to the TV. The phone becomes the remote and My List stays open in your hand.

Fire TV Stick

Open Silk, type the address, bookmark it. Search works with the remote's keyboard or the microphone. Watch now opens the service's Fire TV app when it is installed on the stick; if it is not, the stick offers to install it, which takes a minute.

Chromecast, Apple TV and AirPlay

Chromecast with Google TV carries the services as apps and takes casts from an Android phone. Apple TV does the same, and AirPlay from an iPhone works the way casting from Android does: open the title on the phone, press Watch now, pick the service, and send it to the screen.

PlayStation and Xbox

Both consoles run the streaming services as apps. Note the title and the service on 2KMovies, open the app on the console, and start it there. The console's browser also opens the site if you prefer to search with the controller.

What plays in 4K

The service decides the tier from the title's best master, the plan you are on and the screen. Most of the 2023 to 2026 catalogue, Hollywood and Indian alike, is 4K on the services that carry it; older titles play in HD. The HD, 2K and 4K page explains which tier to expect from the year on the card.
